Oh, my gosh! Yesterday’s Del Dios Chili Cook off was FUN in caps! And we all came away so stuffed full of delish eats. I am here with my friend Nancy, picture taken by her husband Dan. I was reminded last night that people together can create. Anything. Space, community, love, art, learning. The list spreads out and on. The Del Dios Community Center (AKA The Ol’ Firehouse) receives no government funding. None. Yet it grows and improves because of the people who live here. And you don’t have to live here to enjoy it.
